CHILD LABOR

                              

A wise man said that children are the future of a nation. This means that if they are in a good condition and are well educated the future of the country is also bright. Nevertheless in our country many children of poor families do labor to earn money. This is what is exactly called ‘Child Labor’.

            Today there are many children in our country who just dream of education. Instead of getting education in their early ages the children do labor to feed themselves or their poor family. In these ages the children, instead of wearing uniform and going to schools, they are sent to workshops, hotels, etc. to work and earn money.

            These children have no joy in their life. Their outlook becomes pessimistic. They are abused and misused. They are beaten mercilessly. Just for small mistakes, they are abused. They forget the efficacy of sweet words.

            Now the government and also the NGO’s are worried taking the future of India. The government and the NGO’s are now taking measurable steps in the direction to ban child labor. The government has now started free schools where along with free education food is also distributed among the children of poor families.

            The system of child labor is not allowed by our Constitution. Nevertheless the children are forced t work when their stomach is empty. The government now has to come forward to take steps in this direction.
